These are some of our award-winning filmmakers!

Our newest winner was Kaitlyn Ellison who brought home second place in the state-wide Young Filmmakers Competition. She has the honor of being our first student to win a spot in one of the top positions!

Thomas Hudson took home the top prize in the high school division with his film Escape or Die at the 12th Annual Lander Film Festival.

This year's runner-up and winner of the Mason Parrish Award for Excellence at the 12th Annual Lander Film Festival was Kaitlyn Ellison, with her film Witching Hour.

Daniel Tower won the Young Filmmakers Division in 2021.

In 2021, we had our first three finalists in the Young Film Makers Project, two of which you can view below.

We also took home some awards for promotional videos created for student radio shows and WPPB The Pulse Radio Station and United Way of Anderson, and a 2024 IBS Awarding Winning ad called "The Old Man."

Instructor, Winston Cely has now participated three times in the Lander Film Festival, taking home the Directors Choice award in 2019 and the Best of the Festival in the 11th and 12th Annual Festivals.
